FREE WEBINAR (ZOOM)
Tuesday, 1 October 2024
11.00am to 12.00pm (AEST)
Workplace culture is shaped by its people and their behaviours
Fostering a good culture is equally at the front door of every leader to clearly understand actions, promote constructive peer interactions, and promote great working relationships.
We have invited guest speakers, Bronwyn Dennis, Senior Facilitator based in Sydney and Kirsten Hartmann, Principal IR Consultant from Queensland. They will discuss ways employers can reduce poor behaviours (like bullying, and violence and aggression), and improve working conditions by enhancing working relationships and addressing traumatic materials.
What we will cover
In this webinar, our experts will share practical tips for fostering a positive workplace culture. They will focus on boosting leaders' confidence in handling conflict and setting up trustworthy, employee-friendly complaints handling processes. The session will also cover best practices for long-term conflict management.
Bronwyn Dennis, Senior facilitator and Coach.
As an expert passionate about driving employee engagement, fostering organisational health, and developing a positive culture, Bronwyn plans to provide information on how to set acceptable leadership behaviours and culture, and explain intent vs impact in this context. She will also empower leaders with the skills to handle conflict confidently.
Kirsten Hartmann, Principal IR Consultant.
Kirsten, with her extensive experience in workplace investigations around bullying, harassment, and employee grievances aims to shed light on effective complaints-handling processes and equip leaders with the skills to manage escalation. She would also like to elaborate on achieving positive procedures through training for managers around early intervention, appointing reliable people as contact officers, and cultivating an ‘instant diagnose’ culture to prevent escalation.
