Supporting General Staff to Create Respectful Workplaces
This workshop equips general staff members with the knowledge and practical skills to foster a respectful, safe, and inclusive workplace.
Participants will develop an understanding of respectful workplace behaviours, recognise and respond to bullying, discrimination, harassment, and sexual harassment, and understand the impact these behaviours can have on individuals and teams.
The program also explores practical strategies for self-management, bystander intervention, and early resolution, while outlining the organisation’s reporting, escalation, and resolution processes.
By the end of the workshop, employees will understand their individual responsibilities in creating and maintaining a respectful workplace culture and the important role they play in preventing and addressing inappropriate workplace behaviour.
What makes our training stand out?
Using our signature Workplace Reality Theatre training method, we draw on industry and sector-specific case studies, allowing participants to respond to real-time scenarios played out by professional actors. Participants receive feedback from our expert facilitator on how to assess issues that require escalation versus those that can be resolved by providing employees with the right resources.
