Director Workplace Relations / Subject Matter Expert
John is iHR Australia’s Director of Workplace Relations. John has over 30 years’ experience in human resource management and industrial relations, many spent at senior executive level.
John has vast experience in conducting complex cases before both state and federal tribunals. As well as in the making of enterprise agreements and Australian Workplace Agreements, and construction site allowances. John has also provided advice to employers involved in major industrial relations disputes.
John has applied his extensive, in depth experience to skilfully develop iHR Australia’s investigations department. Positioning iHR Australia as a leading provider of workplace investigation services to organisations dealing with allegations of inappropriate workplace behaviour. As head of iHR Australia’s investigations team, John reviews all reports and oversees all investigations to ensure a highly conscientious and consistent approach is applied.
John also possesses significant experience in mediation and dispute resolution and has worked with a wide variety of organisations and workers at varying levels to assist in restoring appropriate working relationships.

John has extensive experience in conducting independent workplace investigations into allegations of bullying and harassment, and has conducted major investigations in a wide variety of industries, including health, manufacturing, energy, mining, education and transport.
As well as heading up iHR Australia’s investigations team, John also co-facilitates iHR Australia’s Workplace Investigation Officer Training for Human Resource practitioners around Australia.
