Melbourne, Australia, 27th June 2024, iHR Australia marks a new chapter today as Managing Director Stephen Bell steps down, passing the leadership baton to John Brennan. With over 20 years of remarkable experience in HR and industrial relations, Mr. Brennan brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to iHR Australia.

Stephen Bell states: “I am thrilled to share with you that as of July 1, 2024 John Brennan will be commencing as CEO of iHR Australia. That means that after 26 years, I will be stepping down from my role as Managing Director.

The board is genuinely excited about John taking over. He brings a wealth of experience as a leader and expert in the Workplace Relations and Generalist HR field. He has significant expertise in risk culture and has fulfilled important roles as an acting CEO and senior executive. Most importantly, he is an extremely competent and decent human being who I am sure will continue to drive and build on the standards and special values of our organisation.

For me, it will be focusing on my role as a very active board member, while also conducting the odd training program for very special clients. I also intend to spend more time with my beautiful family and friends as well as continue exercising my passion for writing and producing music. “

In this new chapter, Mr. Brennan seeks to carry forward the extraordinary legacy of Mr. Bell’s brainchild, helping businesses thrive while giving special attention to addressing psychosocial risks. 

The organisation aims to take a substantial leap forward in identifying and bridging gaps within the HR and workplace relations market.
