Dr. Verena Marshall, PhD

As a Senior Workplace Relations Advisor and Facilitator at iHR Australia, Dr Verena Marshall helps organisations investigate workplace concerns, resolve disputes and strengthen people management through practical advice and training.

Verena brings more than 30 years’ experience as an HR manager and organisational development consultant across private and public sector organisations. Her investigation, mediation and training experience spans mining, oil and gas, transport, retail, federal, state and local government, and not-for-profit organisations.

During 18 years as an academic at Curtin Graduate School of Business, Verena taught in the Master of Business Administration and Master of Business Leadership programs. Her research and teaching covered organisational behaviour, strategic HR, employee relations, employment law, and occupational health and safety law, bringing together academic insight and practical workplace experience.

Verena holds a PhD in Performance Management, a Master of Business, a Juris Doctor, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a Graduate Certificate of Migration Law. She is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW, is a licensed investigator in Western Australia and is a nationally accredited mediator.
