Karen Streckfuss

As a Senior Workplace Relations Advisor at iHR Australia, Karen Streckfuss helps organisations resolve employment disputes, investigate workplace concerns and strengthen compliance through practical, commercially informed advice.

Karen brings specialist expertise in human resources and employment and industrial relations law, with extensive experience representing clients in courts, tribunals and complex negotiations. Her earlier background in sales and marketing informs her understanding of business priorities and the practical challenges employers face.

An experienced mediator and workplace investigator, Karen previously served as Co-Chair of the Australasian Association of Workplace Investigators. She combines legal rigour with clear, accessible guidance, delivering training in sexual harassment, discrimination and workplace policy compliance. Karen also advises on workplace change and restructuring, supporting fair and balanced outcomes.

Karen holds a Master of Laws, a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, a nationally accredited mediator with the Victorian Bar, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
