Adam Simms

As a Senior Workplace Relations Advisor at iHR Australia, Adam Simms helps organisations investigate complex workplace concerns, manage risk and support procedurally fair outcomes.

Adam combines specialist detective experience in Australia and internationally with a legal background in corporate crime, workplace crimes and employment law. His career includes progressing to Partner within leading Australian consultancy firms, advising on sensitive matters at senior organisational levels.

His investigation expertise spans workplace fraud, criminal conduct, bullying, discrimination and harassment. Adam takes a thorough, practical approach, drawing on procedural fairness and risk management principles to assess individual matters and identify broader organisational risks. His advice and facilitation help organisations strengthen their response and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Adam holds legal qualifications and is a solicitor member of the Law Society of NSW. In 2021, he was appointed to an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) expert committee to contribute to the development of ISO 37008 on internal investigations.
