Here we grow again; new additions to our Workplace Relations team

iHR Australia is pleased to be expanding and bringing on more highly qualified and talented people to work in its workplace relations team, with a particular focus on workplace investigations. iHR Australia welcomes the following consultants as the most recent additions to the iHR team;

Dr Leigh Hodder PhD MAPS

Leigh is an experienced investigator who has also trained internal investigators in various organisations. Alongside her skills in coaching, mediation and training Leigh is a consulting psychologist with 17 years’ experience.

She has provided investigation and consulting services to organisations of various sizes and has worked in a wide range of industries including the government, not for profit and private sectors. Leigh has also conducted mediation for a range of clients including working with crime victims and offenders and has delivered mediation skills training.

In providing services to organisations, Leigh has gained valuable skills in negotiating with unions and has the required insight and analytical ability to conduct in depth investigations while following the principles of procedural fairness.

Anton Duc

Anton has been involved in workplace relations since 1993. He holds a solicitor’s practicing certificate and concentrates on employment law. He has represented employers in the NSW and Federal jurisdiction in the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW, the Fair Work Commission (and its predecessors) and in various courts including the Federal Magistrates Court.

Anton has worked for a variety of employer organisations and law firms and has advised both large and small employers. He has also worked as a Human Resource Manager in hospitality and defence industries, dealing with counselling and discipline, investigations, planning of resource needs and dealing with unions.

He has been involved in all aspects of workplace relations, including drafting contracts of employment, advising on terms and conditions of employment, litigating unfair dismissals and unfair contracts, workplace health and safety, enterprise agreements. Anton has also had extensive experience in investigating workplace bullying and harassment claims, including sexual harassment and discrimination claims.

Maryanne Seibel

A Human Resources professional with more than 20 years’ experience in senior HR roles, Maryanne Seibel holds a Master of Employment Law with Honours and a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management). Previous senior and executive positions were with leading national and global organisations in both the private and public sector, including Unilever, Campbell Arnott’s, Metcash and Roads & Maritime Services (NSW).

Maryanne has strong experience and expertise in workplace relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, leadership coaching, mediation and facilitation. As an accredited coach, change management practitioner, and facilitator in Crucial Conversations, she is uniquely qualified to guide organisations and senior executives through change, growth and development.

Additionally, she has successfully led enterprise agreement negotiations in highly unionised environments and has extensive experience in supporting managers and leaders in performance management and conflict resolution. Importantly, she understands the damage and cost of conflict and grievances in the workplace and believes early intervention is critical to ensure harmony.

Maryanne is passionate about supporting organisations to build high performing cultures that value diversity, engagement and collaboration.

David Tulip

David has worked in the human resources / workplace relations field for 30 years. He has worked for a number of diverse organisations in the transport, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, logistics and service sectors, as well as employer organisations.

This experience in a diverse range of working and industry environments has allowed David to develop a broad repertoire of human resources, workplace relations and general management skills. These skills include negotiating enterprise agreements, drafting employment agreements and HR policies, advocacy before industrial tribunals, conducting workplace investigations and HR due diligence for acquisitions.

Alongside his training in negotiation, advocacy and performance management, David possesses an honours degree in Economics and a masters degree in Strategic HR Management.
