David Tulip – Senior Workplace Relations Adviser
David has worked in the human resources / workplace relations field for 30 years. He has worked for a number of diverse organisations in the transport, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, logistics and service sectors, as well as employer organisations.
This experience in a diverse range of working and industry environments has allowed David to develop a broad repertoire of human resources, workplace relations and general management skills. These skills include negotiating enterprise agreements, drafting employment agreements and HR policies, advocacy before industrial tribunals, conducting workplace investigations and HR due diligence for acquisitions.
Alongside his training in negotiation, mediation, advocacy and performance management, David holds an Honours Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Strategic HR Management.
Dr. Helen Sitlington PhD - Senior Workplace Relations Adviser
Over 25 years’ experience as a senior Human Resource Manager, Employment Relations Practitioner, Academic and Researcher. Dr. Helen Sitlington’s experience includes managing significant organisational change, taking a lead role in these processes. She provides advice and support on strategic and operational Human Resource matters and Employment Relations issues. Regularly investigating complaints, managing disciplinary processes and resolving grievances.
As a Licenced Investigator Helen undertakes workplace investigations and advises organisations on strategies to improve workplace culture, operations and business processes to improve business performance and recurrence of workplace conflicts.
Helen extensive experience and knowledge of HR management and Employment Relations issues, combined with expertise in development of enterprise agreements, interpretation and implementation of relevant awards and legislation. Throughout her career Helen has been involved in frequent organisational change, due to financial pressures and changing service delivery requirements. She is therefore familiar with challenging and changing environments and is a skilled change agent.
Helen has taught Strategic Human Resource Management and Employment Relations in the postgraduate programs at Curtin and Edith Cowan Universities for many years and has presented and published widely in these areas. Helen holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and is a certified Mediator and Conciliator.
She also holds a Certificate III in Investigation Services, Certificate IV in Government Investigation and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In addition, Helen obtained her MBA from Edith Cowan University, and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne.
Dru Gillan – Senior Workplace Relations Adviser
Dru Gillan has over 15 years’ experience in the fields of industrial relations and employment law.
During his work with the Australian Retailers Association, Dru had carriage of applications to both the State and Federal Industrial Tribunals regarding the Retail Employees (NSW) Award.
From 2005 to 2009 Dru served as the Director of Industrial Relations for the Restaurant & Catering Association of NSW. He was also Solicitor-Director at law firm, Restaurant & Catering Legal Practice (NSW) before beginning his own legal practice in 2010 where he specialises in employment law.
Dru graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in psychology) and Bachelor of Laws in 1997 and became a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2000.
Rodney Levett – Senior HR Consultant
Rodney Levett’s has gained extensive HR experience in a career spanning over 20 years, with various roles including senior generalist HR positions in Australia/NZ in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and manufacturing industries. He has also worked in Global HR roles supporting large and complex IT groups.
He has consulted in areas ranging from senior executive recruitment to manufacturing process improvement. Rodney's experience covers all main areas of HR - compensation and benefits design and administration, talent management and leadership development, recruitment and selection, workplace investigation, performance management and change management support for mergers & acquisitions and internally generated reorganisations and large scale transformations.
Rodney's passion is connecting HR to business strategy with practical and tangible outcomes and business results, working with senior stakeholders to understand their business drivers and tailor HR programs accordingly.
Rodney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Industrial Relations), Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Human Resource Management) and has completed his MBA, majoring in finance, acquisitions, corporate change & restructuring.
Peter Abrams - Senior Workplace Relations Adviser
With over thirty years’ experience in Industrial Relations, Peter Abrams has amassed experience across a broad range of industries and in various-sized enterprises.
His appointment to senior executive status within a major national organisation, to a federal government working group by Ministerial selection, and as the strategic HR Advisor to a major manufacturing Group, all speak to his standing in the Industrial Relations community. Peter has been involved with iHR Australia since 1997 including a period as a Director.
As a Workplace Relations Consultant and strategist, he has built a reputation for assisting businesses create effective enterprise agreements with innovative solutions to pre-existing problems.
His experience as a mediator and his calm nature equip him well to reconcile conflicting parties and he has been engaged by several corporations to act as an independent chairperson for a range of negotiations including enterprise agreements.
Peter has VCAT professional advocate status. He has been heavily involved in enterprise agreement negotiations both as a direct party and as a strategic adviser to management.
Lisa Guenther – Senior HR Consultant / Facilitator
Lisa is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years’ experience across the full human resources function with expertise in performance management, leadership development, talent management/succession planning, change management and workplace culture. She has a particular interest in designing, developing and facilitating workshops that enhance workplace culture and leadership capability, including train-the-trainer programs.

Jo Murphy - Senior HR Consultant / Facilitator
Jo Murphy has over 15 years of diverse management experience in a range of roles incorporating Human Resources, Training and Development, Change management and Marketing in large multi-national organisation environments and SME’s.
With a consistent track record for interactive and highly engaging facilitation, Jo has conducted hundreds of training sessions using varied approaches to accommodate diverse cultures, functions, levels and abilities.
Jo is a trained Investigator and Contact Officer for EEO and Anti-Bullying issues, and has practical experience handling complaints and establishing prevention and issues handling frameworks.

Leonie Kerley - Senior HR Consultant / Facilitator
Leonie Kerley is an experienced HR practitioner and facilitator with over 20 years’ experience working in the world of best practice strategic Human Resources and People Development, covering all facets of leadership development, capability building, change management, performance management and EEO legislation. Graeme Sharp is based in Christchurch, New Zealand and has over 30 years’ human resources experience, specialising in HR advice, policy development and organisational development for a wide range of clients ranging from multi-national corporations, government departments to small business enterprises.
He was a Director for 15 years at The New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM) Executive Staff Course, recognised as the premier management and professional development programme in New Zealand. He also conducted the programme in Fiji and Australia.
Graeme is well known for his practical pragmatic approach to solving employment issues whilst observing cultural norms.
